REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT BELT RETRACTOR COVER

      Install the rear seat belt retractor cover as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  2. INSPECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B006WXGE01

      Engage the guide and temporarily install the rear seat outer belt assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

    2. Fully tighten the bolt (A) and then the bolt (B) to install the rear seat outer belt assembly LH.

      Torque:
      Bolt (A)
      12.5 N*m  { 127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }
      Bolt (B)
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      *a Locking Button
      *b Lock

      Connect the pretensioner connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Securely lock the locking button.

    4. Check that the ELR locks.

      Note

      This check should be performed with the rear seat outer belt assembly LH installed to the vehicle.


      1. With the rear seat outer belt assembly LH installed to the vehicle, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Sunshade)


    1. Pass the 3 rear seat belt floor anchors through the package tray trim panel assembly.

    2. Engage the 3 clips and 5 guides.

    3. Install the package tray trim panel assembly with the 2 clips.

    4. Return the rear seatback assembly LH and rear seatback assembly RH to their original position.

  6. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Sunshade)


    1. Pass the 3 rear seat belt floor anchors through the package tray trim panel assembly.

    2. Engage the 3 clips.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER


    1. Engage the 2 guides and 2 claws to install the rear seat shoulder belt hole cover.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the other rear seat shoulder belt hole covers.

  8. INSTALL CENTER STOP LIGHT SET

  9. CONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

      B006Y8C Protruding Part

      Connect the floor anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly LH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the rear seat outer belt assembly LH to overlap the protruding parts of the floor panel.

  10. CONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for Fold Down Seat Type)

  19. CONNECT REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type)

  20. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Reclining Seat Type)

  21. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  22. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK
