REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Reclining Seat Type) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT REAR SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Reclining Motor (Rear Seat Reclining Adjuster Assembly LH))

      Check the operation of the reclining motor.

      
      

      1. Check if the rear seatback moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the reclining motor connector terminals.

         OK
         Battery Connection Operational Direction Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 Backward Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 Forward

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat reclining adjuster assembly LH.

2. INSPECT REAR SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY RH

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Reclining Motor (Rear Seat Reclining Adjuster Assembly RH))

      Check the operation of the reclining motor.

      
      

      1. Check if the rear seatback moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the reclining motor connector terminals.

         OK
         Battery Connection Operational Direction Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 Forward Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 Backward

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat reclining adjuster assembly RH.
