PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

    When installing a bench type rear seat cushion cover, refer to Precaution in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

    1. Engage the 24 claws.

      Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

    2. Engage the 20 hooks.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

    3. Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

    4. Using hog ring pliers, install 6 new hog rings.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

    5. Engage the 6 hooks.

    6. Engage the 4 fasteners to install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the rear seat cushion pad sub-assembly.

  2. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT BASE COVER

      Engage the guide and claw as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the child restraint seat base cover with the screw.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for all child restraint seat base cover.

  3. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT COVER

  4. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER (for LH Side)

        Engage the 6 claws to install the separate type rear seatback cover to the separate type rear seatback pad.

        Note

        Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

    2. w/ Removable Headrest:

        Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for LH Side)

        Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports as shown in the illustration.

  6. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for LH Side)

      Install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

    2. B004JTZ

      Engage the 4 hooks.

      *a Fastener

      Close the 2 fasteners as shown in the illustration.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK UPPER LOCK BEZEL (for LH Side)

      Engage the 4 claws to install a new rear seatback upper lock bezel.

  8. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER (for RH Side)

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for RH Side)

        Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports as shown in the illustration.

  10. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for RH Side)

      Install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly RH as shown in the illustration.

    2. B004LQM

      Engage the 6 hooks.

      Close the 2 fasteners as shown in the illustration.

  11. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK UPPER LOCK BEZEL (for RH Side)

      Engage the 4 claws to install a new rear seatback upper lock bezel.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER SHOULDER BELT GUIDE (for RH Side)

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seat center shoulder belt guide with the 2 screws.

  13. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

    When installing a rear seat center armrest cover sub-assembly, refer to Precaution in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

  15. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST COVER (for RH Side)

  16. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST BOX ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

        Engage the 4 claws to install the rear seat center armrest box assembly.

  17. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

      Engage the pin and temporarily install the rear seat center armrest assembly as shown in the illustration.

    3. B004NFZ

      Install the rear seat center armrest assembly with the bush and bolt.

      Torque:
      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

  18. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE COVER (for RH Side)

      Engage the pin.

    2. Engage the 2 claws to install the rear seatback hinge cover as shown in the illustration.

  19. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)


    1. Install the rear side seatback cover sub-assembly LH to the rear side seatback pad LH.

  20. INSTALL REAR SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag)

  21. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for LH Side)

      Install the rear side seatback cover with pad to the rear side seatback frame sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

      Engage the 15 hooks.

    3. w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag:

        Install the 2 nuts.

        Torque:
        5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

  22. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH (for LH Side)


    1. B004ILY

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seat shoulder belt guide LH with the 2 screws.

  23. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  24. INSTALL REAR SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  25. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for RH Side)
