FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Manual Seat) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTER BRACKET COVER RH

      Engage the claw to install the vertical adjuster bracket cover RH to the front vertical adjuster brake sub-assembly RH.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT VERTICAL ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the front seat vertical adjuster assembly.

        *a Stud Bolt of the Front Vertical Adjuster Brake Sub-assembly RH
        *b Hole of the Front Seat Adjuster Assembly RH

        Install the front vertical adjuster brake sub-assembly RH.

        Note

        Make sure to insert the stud bolt of the front vertical adjuster brake sub-assembly RH into the hole of the front seat adjuster assembly as shown in the illustration.

        Install the vertical adjuster spacer.

      3. B004KV2N01

        Install the vertical adjuster plate with the 3 nuts.

        Torque:
        5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

        Note

        Tighten the nuts in the order shown in the illustration.

  3. INSTALL SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE

      Engage the 2 claws to install the seat track adjusting handle to the front seat adjuster assembly RH.

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      Engage the 6 hooks to install the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly RH to the front seat adjuster assembly RH.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION WIRE HARNESS HOLDER RH

      Engage the claw.

    2. Install the front seat cushion wire harness holder RH with the 2 screws.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE RH


    1. Connect each connector and engage each clamp to install the front seat wire RH.

  7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE


    1. Connect each connector and engage each clamp to install the front seat wire.

  8. INSTALL SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

  15. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Engage the 10 hooks to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

      Connect the connector and engage the clamp.

  16. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 SEATBACK HOOK

      Install the 2 front No. 1 seatback hooks to the front seatback frame sub-assembly RH.

  17. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR


    1. Install the 2 front seatback edge protectors to the front seatback spring sub-assembly RH.

  18. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      Install the front seatback spring sub-assembly RH to the front seatback frame sub-assembly RH as shown in the illustration.

      Engage the 2 claws to install the 2 front seatback edge protectors to the front seatback frame sub-assembly RH.

  22. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Install the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

  23. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

      Close the 2 fasteners.

  24. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

      Engage the 4 guides.

    2. Install the separate type front seatback assembly to the separate type front seat cushion assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Engage the claw and 4 clamps to install the front seat airbag assembly RH wire harness.

      Tech Tips

      Engage the claw first.

      Pass the separate type front seatback cover through the grooves of the RH seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH and RH seat reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  25. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 SEAT TRACK SPACER

    1. Engage the claw and guide to install the lower No. 2 seat track spacer to the front seat inner cushion shield RH.

  26. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 SEAT TRACK SPACER

    1. Engage the claw and guide to install the lower No. 1 seat track spacer to the front seat cushion shield RH.

  27. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Install the reclining adjuster release handle RH.

  31. INSTALL RECLINING HINGE COVER RH

      Engage the guide.

    2. Engage the claw to install the reclining hinge cover RH.

  32. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE RH

  33. CONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER
