PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (w/ Occupant Classification System)

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

    Click here

  4. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Disconnect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

  5. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

      B006ZFL Remove in this Direction

      Operate the vertical adjusting handle and using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the vertical adjusting handle as shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE RECLINING HINGE COVER

      *a Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the reclining hinge cover.

  7. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      Remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

  8. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

      B006ZFL Remove in this Direction (1)
      B006WSJ Remove in this Direction (2)

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the seat adjuster cover cap as shown in the illustration.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (w/o Vertical Adjuster)

      Disengage the 2 claws.

      Disengage the claw and 2 guides.

      B006ZFL Remove in this Direction

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and slightly pull the front seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the guide to remove the front seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

    5. w/ Lower Seat Track Spacer:

        Disengage the claw and guide to remove the lower No. 3 seat track spacer from the front seat cushion shield.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD (w/o Vertical Adjuster)

      Disengage the 3 claws.

      Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the front seat inner cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

    3. w/ Lower Seat Track Spacer:

        Disengage the claw and guide to remove the lower No. 4 seat track spacer from the front seat inner cushion shield.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

      Disengage the 2 claws.

      Disengage the claw and 2 guides.

      *a Protective Tape
      B006ZFL Remove in this Direction

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and slightly pull the front seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the guide to remove the front seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

    5. w/ Lumbar Support:

        Disengage the 2 clamps.

      2. Disconnect the front lumbar power seat switch connector to remove the front seat cushion shield.

    6. w/ Lower Seat Track Spacer:

        Disengage the claw and guide to remove the lower No. 1 seat track spacer from the front seat cushion shield.

  12. REMOVE FRONT LUMBAR POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/ Lumbar Support)

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

      Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the front seat inner cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

    3. w/ Lower Seat Track Spacer:

        Disengage the claw and guide to remove the lower No. 2 seat track spacer from the front seat inner cushion shield.

  14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

    2. w/ Lumbar Support:

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

    4. w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:

        Disengage the claw and 4 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

        Tech Tips

        Disengage the 4 clamps first.

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    6. Disengage the 4 guides to remove the separate type front seatback assembly from the separate type front seat cushion assembly.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Disengage the 3 hooks.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disengage the clamp.

    3. B0071BT

      Open the 2 fasteners.

    4. w/o Rear Seat Belt Warning:

        Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

        *1 Seatback Cover Hook
        *a Pin

        Pull up the pin of the seatback cover hook as shown in the illustration and remove the seatback cover hook.

        *1 Seat Cover Hanger
        *a Bracket

        Slide the bracket as shown in the illustration to disengage the hook and disconnect the bracket from the seat cover hanger.

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

  17. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 9 claws and remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad as shown in the illustration.

  21. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Lumbar Support)

    1. w/o Lumbar Support:


      1. Remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

    2. w/ Lumbar Support:


      1. Remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the lumbar support adjuster assembly RH.

  23. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SEATBACK HOOK

      Remove the 2 front No. 2 seatback hooks from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  24. REMOVE FRONT SEAT NO. 2 WIRE (w/ Lumbar Support)

      Disengage the clamp to remove the front seat No. 2 wire.

  25. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      1. Disengage the claw to separate the connector holder as shown in the illustration.

        Disengage the claw to remove the connector holder from the occupant detection sensor wire harness as shown in the illustration.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disconnect the connector and disengage the clamp.

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

    4. Disengage the 10 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

  26. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 14 claws and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad as shown in the illustration.

    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire RH.

    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire RH.

  37. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE (w/ Seat Heater System)


    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire.

  38. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION WIRE HARNESS HOLDER

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the claw to remove the front seat cushion wire harness holder.

  39. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 6 hooks to remove the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly from the front seat adjuster assembly.

  40. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the seat track adjusting handle from the front seat adjuster assembly.

  41. REMOVE FRONT SEAT VERTICAL ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY (w/ Vertical Adjuster)


    1. Remove the front seat vertical adjuster assembly.

        Remove the 3 nuts and vertical adjuster plate.

        Remove the vertical adjuster spacer.

  42. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTER BRACKET COVER (w/ Vertical Adjuster)
