SEAT HEATER SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK


  1. CHECK FRONT SEAT HEATER


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Turn the refreshing seat switch on and check that the indicator illuminates and the surface of the front seat warms up.

    3. Check that the front seat surface temperature changes according to the operation of the refreshing seat switch as follows: HI → MID → LO.

  2. CHECK REAR SEAT HEATER (w/ Rear Seat Heater)


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Turn the seat heater switch (cooler control switch assembly) on and check that the indicator illuminates and the surface of the rear seat warms up.

  3. CHECK THERMOSTAT IN REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (LH) (w/ Rear Seat Heater)


    1. Remove the rear seat cushion heater assembly (LH).

    2. Remove the rear seatback heater assembly LH.

      Connect the C rear seatback heater assembly LH connector and D rear seat cushion heater assembly (LH) connector.

    4. Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the rear seat heater as shown in the table below.

      Note

      To prevent the rear seat heater from overheating, be sure to disconnect the battery from the rear seat heater immediately after this inspection is completed.

    5. CHECK THERMOSTAT IN REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (RH) (w/ Rear Seat Heater)


      1. Remove the rear seat cushion heater assembly (RH) and rear seat cushion heater assembly (LH).

      2. Remove the rear seatback heater assembly RH and rear seatback heater assembly LH.

        Click here

      3. Connect the C rear seatback heater assembly LH connector and D rear seat cushion heater assembly (LH) connector.

      4. Connect the rear seatback heater assembly RH connector and G rear seat cushion heater assembly (RH) connector.

      5. Connect the E rear seat cushion heater assembly (LH) connector and F rear seat cushion heater assembly (RH) connector.
