ROOM LIGHT INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for LED Type without Rear Seat Armrest Illumination)

    Component without harness connected

    (Spot Light Assembly)

    1. Inspect the spot light LH and spot light RH.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check that the spot light comes on.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 5 (B)

        Battery negative (-) → 1 (E)

        		 Spot light switch LH on Spot light LH comes on
        Spot light switch RH on Spot light RH comes on

        Battery positive (+) → 5 (B)

        Battery negative (-) → 2 (CTY)

        		 Spot light switch LH off Spot light LH comes on
        Spot light switch RH off Spot light RH comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.

  2. INSPECT SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for LED Type with Rear Seat Armrest Illumination)

    1. Inspect the spot light LH and spot light RH.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check that the spot light comes on.

        OK

        Spot light switch RH on Spot light RH comes on

        Spot light switch RH off Spot light RH comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.

    2. Inspect the switch illumination and rear seat armrest illumination.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check that the switch illumination and rear seat armrest illumination come on.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 4 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → 3 (ILL-)

        		 Always Switch illumination comes on
        Rear seat armrest illumination switch on Rear seat armrest illumination comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.
