DOOR CONTROL SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

   INSPECT DOOR CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Door Control Switch Assembly)

      Check the switch.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 4 - 5 Lock switch pushed Below 200 Ω 4 - 5 Lock switch not pushed 1 MΩ or higher 2 - 5 Unlock switch not pushed 1 MΩ or higher 2 - 5 Unlock switch pushed Below 200 Ω

         If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid opener switch.

   2. Check the switch illumination.

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the door control switch assembly illuminates.

         OK
         Battery Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 Illumination illuminates

         If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid opener switch.
