  • Depending on the parts that are replaced during vehicle inspection or maintenance, performing initialization, registration or calibration may be needed. Refer to Precaution for Navigation System.

  • When replacing the radio and display receiver assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a radio and display receiver assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:


    • A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.

    • The radio and display receiver assembly may not operate normally.

  1. CHECK USAGE CONDITION


    1. Check the conditions under which the MirrorLink function is being used.

    1. Refer to System Description and check if the application being used is MirrorLink compatible.

  3. CHECK SMARTPHONE


    1. Check if an image is displayed on the MirrorLink compatible smartphone when a MirrorLink compatible application is running and it is disconnected from the head unit.

      Restarting the smartphone may return the application will not be running.

  4. CHECK APPLICATION RUNNING STATUS


    1. Connect the smartphone to the head unit with a MirrorLink compatible application running and check if the MirrorLink function can be used and an image is displayed.

      The MirrorLink function may not start if the application will not be running.
