Note
Depending on the parts that are replaced during vehicle inspection or maintenance, performing initialization, registration or calibration may be needed. Refer to Precaution for Navigation System.
When replacing the radio and display receiver assembly or navigation ECU, always replace it with a new one. If a radio and display receiver assembly or navigation ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:
A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.
The radio and display receiver assembly or navigation ECU may not operate normally.
The vehicle battery supplies power to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via the door control battery. Therefore, before performing troubleshooting, make sure to perform an on-vehicle inspection to confirm that the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) power source circuit is normal.*

Tech Tips
Use the table below to help determine the cause of problem symptoms. If multiple suspected areas are listed, the potential causes of the symptoms are listed in order of probability in the "Suspected Area" column of the table. Check each symptom by checking the suspected areas in the order they are listed. Replace parts as necessary.
Inspect the fuses and relays related to this system before inspecting the suspected areas below.
