CHANGE POWER TILT AND POWER TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN SYSTEM SETTINGS
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE TILT AND TELESCOPIC SWITCH

Disconnect the spiral cable connector from the spiral cable sub-assembly.
Disconnect the tilt and telescopic connector from the tilt and telescopic switch.
Disengage the claw and pull out the tilt and telescopic switch.
