DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when there is a malfunction in the ECM.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note:

Before replacing the ECM, refer to Service Bulletin.

Tip:

The ECM receives signals from each sensor to control all functions of the cruise control system. When a malfunction is detected, the fail-safe function operates until the engine switch is turned off.

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CHECK FOR DTCs


    1. Clear the DTCs.


      1. Powertrain > Cruise Control > Clear DTCs


    2. Perform the following procedure.

      Tip:

      If the following procedure is not performed, the previously output DTC cannot be detected.


      1. Drive the vehicle at a speed for which cruise control operation is possible.

      2. Turn the cruise control system on using the cruise control main switch.

      3. Depress the brake pedal for 1 second or more.

    3. Check for DTCs.


      1. Powertrain > Cruise Control > Trouble Codes


      OK
      DTC P057504 and P057549 are not output.
