DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the vehicle stability control system has a problem. Check the vehicle stability control system when DTC P157800 is stored.

P157800 Brake System While the engine switch is on (IG) and the cruise control system is operating, a malfunction in the vehicle stability control system is detected for 0.2 seconds or more.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Check for DTCs.


      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRC > Trouble Codes
      OK
      Vehicle stability control system DTCs are not output.
      Result
      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    NG

    GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK FOR DTCs (CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs.


      Powertrain > Cruise Control > Clear DTCs

    2. Perform the following procedure.

      Tech Tips

      If the following procedure is not performed, the previously output DTC cannot be detected.


      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      2. Turn the cruise control system on using the cruise control main switch.

      3. Wait for 1 second or more.

    3. Check for DTCs.


      Powertrain > Cruise Control > Trouble Codes
      OK
      DTC P157800 is not output.
