OIL PRESSURE SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL OIL PRESSURE SENSOR (OIL PRESSURE SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY)

      *a Adhesive 1344
      *b Oil Inlet Port

      Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the oil pressure sensor (oil pressure sender gauge assembly).

      Adhesive
      Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1344, Three Bond 1344 or equivalent

      Note


      • Do not apply adhesive to the oil inlet port of the oil pressure sensor (oil pressure sender gauge assembly).

      • Install the oil pressure sensor (oil pressure sender gauge assembly) within 3 minutes of applying adhesive.

    2. Using a 27 mm deep socket wrench, install the oil pressure sensor (oil pressure sender gauge assembly) to the cylinder block sub-assembly.

      Torque:
      15 N*m  { 153 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf }

    3. Connect the oil pressure sensor (oil pressure sender gauge assembly) connector.

  2. INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK
