The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during flow shutting valve (No. 1 water by-pass hose) removal/installation are shown below.

REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH
REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH
REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH
DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
REMOVE FLOW SHUTTING VALVE (NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE)
Disengage the 3 clamps to remove the transmission breather clamp.
Disengage the 3 clamps to remove the hose clamp.
Disengage the 2 clamps to disconnect the flow shutting valve (No. 1 water by-pass hose) and transmission breather hose from the hose clamp.
Slide the clip and disconnect the flow shutting valve (No. 1 water by-pass hose) from the water outlet.
Tech Tips
Use a container to catch any engine coolant which flows out of the flow shutting valve (No. 1 water by-pass hose) and water outlet.
Slide the clip and disconnect the flow shutting valve (No. 1 water by-pass hose) from the transmission oil cooler.

Use a container to catch any engine coolant which flows out of the flow shutting valve (No. 1 water by-pass hose) and transmission oil cooler.
Disconnect the flow shutting valve connector.
Remove the bolt and flow shutting valve (No. 1 water by-pass hose).
