FUEL MAIN VALVE(w/o Canister Pump Module) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FUEL MAIN VALVE ASSEMBLY (for High Pressure)

   
   

   1. Apply gasoline to a new O-ring. Then install the O-ring to the fuel main valve assembly.

      Note

      Make sure that there is no clearance between the fuel main valve assembly and mesh.

      

      *1	Fuel Main Valve Assembly
      *a	Mesh
      *b	Mini-clip
      *c	No Clearance

   2. Install the fuel main valve assembly to the fuel filter.

      Note

      Make sure that the O-ring is not cut or pinched during installation.

   3. Install the clip to the fuel filter.

2. INSTALL FUEL MAIN VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Low Pressure)

   
   

   1. Apply gasoline to 2 new O-rings. Then install the O-rings to the fuel main valve assembly.

   2. Install the fuel main valve assembly to the fuel filter.

      Note

      Make sure that the O-rings are not cut or pinched during installation.

   3. Install the clip to the fuel filter.

3. INSTALL FUEL FILTER

   
   

   1. Apply gasoline to a new O-ring. Then install the O-ring to the fuel sub-tank.

   2. 

      Install the fuel filter to the fuel sub-tank as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Make sure that the O-ring is not cut or pinched during installation.

   3. Engage the 3 claws.

      Note

      Securely engage the claws.

   4. Engage the clamp to connect the tube to the fuel filter.
