CAUTION:
Never perform work on fuel system components near any possible ignition sources.
Vaporized fuel could ignite, resulting in a serious accident.
Do not perform work on fuel system components without first disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Sparks could cause vaporized fuel to ignite, resulting in a serious accident.
PROCEDURE
REMOVE FUEL SUCTION TUBE WITH PUMP AND GAUGE ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FUEL PUMP
REMOVE FUEL MAIN VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Low Pressure)
REMOVE FUEL MAIN VALVE ASSEMBLY (for High Pressure)
REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT
Remove the No. 1 fuel suction support from the fuel filter.
INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT
Install the No. 1 fuel suction support to the fuel filter.
INSTALL FUEL MAIN VALVE ASSEMBLY (for High Pressure)
INSTALL FUEL MAIN VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Low Pressure)
INSTALL FUEL PUMP
INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY
INSTALL FUEL SUCTION TUBE WITH PUMP AND GAUGE ASSEMBLY
