PROCEDURE
DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
Disconnect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector.
Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.

Disengage the 2 air cleaner cap clamps.
Disengage the 2 guides to separate the air cleaner cap sub-assembly from the air cleaner case sub-assembly.
Slide the clip and disconnect the ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
Disengage the 2 clamps to separate the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose assembly.
Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap with air cleaner hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.
REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
Disengage the 2 clamps to separate the heater hose.
Disengage the clamp to disconnect the fuel tube sub-assembly from the fuel hose bracket.
Remove the bolt and fuel hose bracket from the throttle body with motor assembly.

Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 1 water by-pass hose and No. 2 water by-pass hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.
Disconnect the throttle body with motor assembly connector.
Remove the 4 bolts and throttle body with motor assembly from the intake manifold.
If the throttle body with motor assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
REMOVE THROTTLE BODY GASKET
Remove the throttle body gasket from the intake manifold.
