BRAKE VACUUM HOSE(for LHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2AR-FE, 2GR-FKS)

  2. REMOVE FRONT CENTER UPPER SUSPENSION BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2AR-FE, 2GR-FKS)

  3. REMOVE CHECK VALVE TO CONNECTOR TUBE HOSE (for 2AR-FE)

      Slide the clip and disconnect the check valve to connector tube hose from the brake booster assembly.

    2. Slide the clip and disconnect the check valve to connector tube hose from the No. 1 hose to hose tube.

    3. Remove the 2 clips from the check valve to connector tube hose.

  4. REMOVE UNION TO CONNECTOR TUBE HOSE (for 2AR-FE)

      Slide the clip and disconnect the union to connector tube hose from the No. 1 hose to hose tube.

      Separate the union to connector tube hose from the vacuum hose clamp.

    3. Slide the clip and disconnect the union to connector tube hose from the intake manifold.

    4. Remove the 2 clips from the union to connector tube hose.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 HOSE TO HOSE TUBE (for 2AR-FE)

      Remove the 2 nuts and No. 1 hose to hose tube.

  6. REMOVE UNION TO CHECK VALVE HOSE (for A25A-FKS)

      Slide the clip and disconnect the union to check valve hose from the brake booster assembly.

    2. B006XFF

      Slide the clip and disconnect the union to check valve hose from the No. 1 vacuum hose connector.

    3. Remove the 2 clips from the union to check valve hose.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 VACUUM HOSE CONNECTOR (for A25A-FKS)

      Disconnect the vacuum hose from the No. 1 vacuum hose connector.

      B006WSJ Pull off

      Pinch the retainer of the No. 1 vacuum hose connector, and then pull the No. 1 vacuum hose connector off of the vacuum pump assembly.

      Note

      Be sure to remove the No. 1 vacuum hose connector by hand.

  8. REMOVE UNION TO CHECK VALVE HOSE (for 2GR-FKS)

      Disengage the clamp to separate the union to check valve hose from the air tube.

    2. B006ZUH

      Slide the clip and disconnect the union to check valve hose from the brake booster assembly.

    3. B0070JX

      Slide the clip and disconnect the union to check valve hose from the air delivery way.

    4. Remove the 2 clips from the union to check valve hose.

  9. REMOVE AIR TUBE (for 2GR-FKS)

      Disconnect the 2 vacuum transmitting hose assemblies from the air delivery way.

      Slide the clip and disconnect the air tube from the vacuum pump assembly.

    3. B006YGN

      Slide the clip and disconnect the air tube from the air delivery way.

    4. Remove the 2 clips from the air tube.

      Disengage the clamp to remove the air delivery way from the intake air surge tank assembly.
