AIR COOLED OIL COOLER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. 

      Install the oil cooler assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:

      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tightening order: Temporarily tighten bolt (A) → Fully tighten bolt (B) → Fully tighten bolt (C) → Fully tighten bolt (A)

2. CONNECT OIL COOLER HOSE

   
   
   1. 

      *a	0 to 3 mm (0 to 0.118 in.)
      *b	2 to 7 mm (0.0787 to 0.276 in.)
      *c	Paint Mark (Under Side of Vehicle)
      *d	30° (Paint Mark Location)

      Connect the 2 oil cooler hoses to the oil cooler assembly and slide the 2 clips to secure them.

      Note

      
      

      • Make sure to slide the oil cooler hose until it contacts the hose stopper of the oil cooler assembly.

      • Make sure that the paint mark of the oil cooler hose is within the location shown in the illustration.

3. INSTALL FRONT RADIATOR SIDE AIR GUIDE PLATE LH

   
   

   1. Engage the 2 clips to install the front radiator side air guide plate LH.

4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

   Click here

6. INSTALL FRONT LOWER BUMPER ABSORBER

   Click here

7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

   Click here

8. ADJUST AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID

   Click here

9. INSPECT FOR FLUID LEAK

10. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

    Click here

11. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH

12. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH
