DESCRIPTION

When a malfunction is detected between various ECUs and sensors, these DTCs are stored.

U0100 Lost Communication with ECM / PCM "A" After the ignition switch is turned to ON for 3 seconds or more, when the vehicle is being driven at a speed of 5 km/h (4 mph) or more, a communication error between the ECM and forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

U0123 Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module After the ignition switch is turned to ON for 3 seconds or more, when the vehicle is being driven at a speed of 5 km/h (4 mph) or more, a communication error between the yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly) and forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

U0129 Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module After the ignition switch is turned to ON for 3 seconds or more, a communication error between the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) and forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

U0131 Lost Communication with Power Steering Control Module After the ignition switch is turned to ON for 3 seconds or more, when the vehicle is being driven at a speed of 5 km/h (4 mph) or more, a communication error between the power steering ECU (rack and pinion power steering gear assembly) and forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs.


      Chassis > LKA/LDA > Clear DTCs

    2. Perform the following procedure.

      Tech Tips

      If the following procedure is not performed, the previously output DTC cannot be detected.


      1. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait 1 minute or more.

      2. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 5 km/h (4 mph) or more for 5 seconds or more.

    3. Check for DTCs.


      Chassis > LKA/LDA > Trouble Codes
