DESCRIPTION
When the forward recognition camera is replaced with a new one, the new forward recognition camera attempts to store the vehicle information received from the ECM. If the vehicle information stored in the forward recognition camera is different from that stored in the ECM, DTC C1AAC is stored.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
Note
When replacing the forward recognition camera, always replace it with a new one. If a forward recognition camera which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the forward recognition camera will not match the information from the vehicle. As a result, a DTC may be stored.
If the forward recognition camera has been replaced with a new one, be sure to perform forward recognition camera adjustment.

CHECK FOR DTCs (SFI SYSTEM)
Tech Tips
If DTC C1AAC is stored, the SFI system may be malfunctioning. Check for DTCs related to the SFI system first.

Clear the DTCs.
Perform the following procedure.
Tech Tips
If the following procedure is not performed, the previously output DTC cannot be detected.
Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait 8 seconds or more.
Check for DTCs.
