HAZARD WARNING SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH)

      Component without harness connected

      (Air Conditioning Control Assembly (Hazard Warning Signal Switch))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      9 (HAZ) - 11 (LJB) Hazard warning signal switch off 1 MΩ or higher
      Hazard warning signal switch on Below 125 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the air conditioning control assembly.

      Component without harness connected

      (Air Conditioning Control Assembly (Hazard Warning Signal Switch))

      Illumination Inspection


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the air conditioning control assembly and check that the switch illuminates.

        OK
        Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 16 (ILL+)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 15 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the air conditioning control assembly.
