LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

      If a malfunction occurs in the lane departure alert system, the master warning light turns on and the lane departure alert indicator turns off. Also, "Check LDA System" is displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly and DTCs are stored in the lane departure warning camera.

      Note

      The master warning light turns off if the system returns to normal.

  2. CHECK INDICATOR

    1. If a malfunction occurs in the lane departure alert system, the lane departure alert indicator turns off, the master warning light illuminates and the buzzer sounds. Also, "Check LDA System" is displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly and DTCs are stored in the lane departure warning camera.

      Note

      If DTCs related to the communication system are stored, "Check LDA System", which is displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly, disappears when the system returns to normal.

      If DTCs not related to the communication system are stored, "Check LDA System", which is displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly, disappears when the power switch is turned off then back on (IG) after the system returns to normal.
