DESCRIPTION

This DTC indicates an abnormality in the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly.

When either of following conditions is met:


  • Cruise control input signal abnormal

  • Stop light switch assembly input signal abnormal

Tech Tips

The hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly receives signals from each sensor to control all functions of the cruise control system. When a malfunction is detected, the fail-safe function operates until the power switch is turned off.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Powertrain > Cruise Control > Clear DTCs

    2. Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.


      1. Drive the vehicle at a speed for which cruise control operation is possible.

      2. Turn the cruise control system on using the cruise control switch (ON/OFF button).

      3. Push the cruise control switch to -/SET to begin control of vehicle speed using the cruise control system.

    3. Check for DTCs.
