  • Before replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), refer to Service Bulletin.

  • Confirm that there are no CAN communication system malfunctions before performing the following inspection.

Tech Tips


    If the forward recognition camera stores a DTC for a malfunction of any of the following, this DTC will be stored simultaneously.

  • Speed sensor malfunction

  • Yaw rate sensor malfunction

  • Steering sensor malfunction

  • CAN communication system

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC (HEALTH CHECK)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.

    5. Check for DTCs.

  2. CHECK FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA SYSTEM


    1. Check if a dynamic radar cruise control system, LKA/LDA system and pre-crash safety system warning message is displayed on the combination meter assembly.
