DESCRIPTION

If the temperature of the forward recognition camera is excessively high and it has been determined that it is dark based on the output of the automatic light control sensor, the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH stores DTC B2437.

Note


  • When replacing the forward recognition camera, always replace it with a new one. If a forward recognition camera which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the forward recognition camera will not match the information from the vehicle. As a result, a DTC may be stored.

  • If the forward recognition camera has been replaced or removed and installed, be sure to perform adjustment of the forward recognition camera.

  • If the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.

DTC B2437 is only stored when it has been determined that it is dark based on the automatic light control sensor.

PROCEDURE


  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > AFS > Clear DTCs
      Result
      Proceed to
      NEXT

    NEXT

  2. CHECK FOR FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA


    1. Move the vehicle to a cool place and ensure that the forward recognition camera is within the normal operating temperature.

    2. Cover the automatic light control sensor.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    4. Check for DTCs.

      DTC B2437 is not output.

  3. REPLACE FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA


    1. Replace the forward recognition camera with a new one.

      Click here

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > AFS > Clear DTCs

    4. Perform forward recognition camera optical axis learning.

      Click here

    5. Cover the automatic light control sensor.

    6. Check for DTCs.

      Click here
