DESCRIPTION

The headlight ECU sub-assembly communicates with the headlight control ECU sub-assembly via LIN communication. When a communication error between the headlight ECU sub-assembly and headlight control ECU sub-assembly is detected, the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH stores DTC B2440 or B2441.

  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

    1. Disconnect the A49 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.

    2. Disconnect the A50 headlight ECU sub-assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A49-20 (LINL) - A50-20 (LINL) Always Below 1 Ω
      A49-20 (LINL) or A50-20 (LINL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
