WIPER SWITCH INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VY16C01
      B005OOA Install in this Direction

      Engage the claw as shown in the illustration to install the windshield wiper switch assembly.

    2. Connect the 2 connectors.

  2. INSTALL TILT AND TELESCOPIC SWITCH (for LH Side)

  3. INSTALL UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER

      Engage the claw to install the upper steering column cover as shown in the illustration.

    2. Engage the 4 clips and 2 claws to connect the instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly.

  4. INSTALL LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER

    Note

    If the lower steering column cover is installed in the incorrect order, the parts may break.

      Engage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01VTNV

      Engage the claw.

    3. A01VXV9

      Engage the claw.

    4. Install the screw.

      Torque:
      2.0 N*m  { 20 kgf*cm, 18 in.*lbf }

    5. Turn the steering wheel assembly to the left and install the screw.

      Torque:
      2.0 N*m  { 20 kgf*cm, 18 in.*lbf }

    6. Turn the steering wheel assembly to the right and install the lower steering column cover with the screw.

      Torque:
      2.0 N*m  { 20 kgf*cm, 18 in.*lbf }
