FUEL LID OPENER UNIT INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FUEL FILLER OPENING LID SUB-ASSEMBLY

      *a Rib
      *b Drain Hole
      *c Cutout

      Temporarily install the fuel tank filler pipe shield with the drain hole and cutout facing downward as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the fuel inlet box ring to the fuel tank filler pipe shield as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Face the end gap of the fuel inlet box ring downward.

      B005OOA Install in this Direction

      Temporarily install the fuel filler opening lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    4. Install the fuel filler opening lid sub-assembly with the 4 screws.

    5. Install the fuel tank filler pipe shield as shown in the illustration.

    6. Install the fuel inlet box ring to the fuel tank filler pipe shield as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Face the end gap of the fuel inlet box ring downward.

  2. INSTALL FUEL TANK CAP ASSEMBLY


    1. Engage the clamp.

      Install the fuel tank cap assembly as shown in the illustration.

  3. INSTALL FUEL FILLER OPENING LID ASSEMBLY

      Engage the 4 guides and claw to install the fuel filler opening lid assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Remove the protective tape.

  4. INSTALL REAR WHEEL HOUSE LINER LH


    1. Install the rear wheel house liner LH with the 9 nuts.

    2. Install the clip.

    3. Install 2 new grommets.

    4. Install the 2 screws.

    5. Install the screw.

  5. INSTALL REAR WHEEL LH
