POWER BACK DOOR TOUCH SENSOR INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)


    1. Engage the clip.

    2. Install the power back door sensor assembly with the 4 screws.

      Torque:
      3.5 N*m  { 36 kgf*cm, 31 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)


    1. Engage the clip.

    2. Install the power back door sensor assembly with the 4 screws.

      Torque:
      3.5 N*m  { 36 kgf*cm, 31 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the connector.

    4. Install the 3 clips.

  3. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)
