PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (for LH Side))

      (Front Seat Cushion Heater (Separate Type Front Seat Cushion Cover (for LH Side)))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      c8-1(B) - D-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      c8-1(B) - D-8 Always Below 1 Ω
      c8-3(IG) - D-3 Always Below 1 Ω
      c8-5(SWR) - D-4 Always Below 1 Ω
      c8-6(THR) - c8-4(PR) Seat heater temperature 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) 6.35 to 12.78 kΩ
      c8-2(E) - D-10 Always Below 1 Ω
      c8-2(E) - D-7 Seat heater temperature 20 °C (68 °F) 1.43 to 1.73 Ω
      c8-2(E) - E-2 Always Below 1 Ω
      D-12 - E-1 Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater (separate type front seat cushion cover (for LH side)).

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (for RH Side))

      b6-2(E) - B-10 Always Below 1 Ω
      b6-2(E) - B-7 Seat heater temperature 20 °C (68 °F) 1.43 to 1.73 Ω
      b6-2(E) - C-2 Always Below 1 Ω
      B-12 - C-1 Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater (separate type front seat cushion cover (for RH side)).

  3. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER (FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER LH)

      D-12 - E-1 Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater (front seat cushion pad with cover LH).

  4. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER (FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER RH)
