PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Side)

  2. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side with Occupant Classification System)

  3. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

    Click here

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    Click here

  6. DISCONNECT FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the 2 rubber bands of the front seatback board sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Standard Seat Type)

      Disengage the claw and 3 guides.

    2. A01VX39

      Disengage the 3 claws.

      Disengage the clip and 2 guides to remove the front seat cushion shield.

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    5. Separate the wire harness from the wire harness guide.

      Disengage the 3 claws and open the wire harness cover.

    7. w/ Variable Seat Cushion System:

        Disconnect the seat variable cushion switch connector.

      w/o Seat Position Memory System:


      1. Disconnect the front power seat switch connector.

      1. Disconnect the 2 position control ECU and switch assembly connectors.

      Disconnect the front lumbar power seat switch connector.

  8. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Standard Seat Type)

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. A01VXYY

      Disengage the clamp.

    3. w/ Variable Seat Cushion System:

        Disengage the hook.

    4. A01VVBK

      Disengage the claw and clip to remove the inner No. 1 front seat cushion shield.

  9. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Sports Seat Type)

      Remove the screw.

      Disengage the clamp.

      Disengage the inner No. 1 front seat cushion shield from the clip as shown in the illustration.

      1. Disconnect the front power seat switch connector.

      1. Disconnect the 2 position control ECU and switch assembly connectors.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

      Disengage the claw and 3 guides.

      Disengage the claw and guide to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  12. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  13. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. Disengage the clamp.

      Disengage the fastener and separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

        Disengage the clamp.

    6. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

      Disengage the claw and 3 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

      Disengage the 3 clamps first.

        Disengage the 2 claws and 4 clamps to separate the front seat No. 2 wire.

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    10. Disengage the 4 guides to remove the separate type front seatback assembly from the separate type front seat cushion assembly.

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the seatback felt.

      Disengage the 2 clips to remove the seatback climate control blower.

    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat No. 2 wire.

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the 4 clamps.

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the seat cushion climate control duct from the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

  40. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BRACKET (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 screws and seat cushion climate control bracket from the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

  41. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

  42. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Disengage the clip (A).

    2. Disengage the hook.

    3. Disengage the clip (B) to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  43. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

    3. Disengage the clip to remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire.

    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire RH.

  48. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 6 hooks to remove the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly from the front seat adjuster assembly.

  49. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.
