  1. REAR POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM DESCRIPTION


    • The rear No. 2 power seats have fold , return and jam protection functions.

    • Each rear No. 2 power seat can be operated independently.

  2. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Component Function

    • No. 2 Seatback Frame Sub-assembly LH (Reclining Motor)

    • No. 2 Seatback Frame Sub-assembly RH (Reclining Motor)

    Uses power supplied from the fold seat control ECU (LH/RH seat) to operate and fold or return the rear No. 2 seatback. Uses a built in Hall IC to detect the position of the rear No. 2 seatback.

    • No. 2 Seat Cushion Frame Sub-assembly LH (Lifter Motor)

    • No. 2 Seat Cushion Frame Sub-assembly RH (Lifter Motor)

    Uses power supplied from the fold seat control ECU (LH/RH seat) to operate and fold or return the rear No. 2 seat cushion. Uses a built in Hall IC to detect the position of the rear No. 2 seat cushion.

    • Fold Seat Switch Assembly

    • No. 1 Fold Seat Switch Assembly

    Outputs rear No. 2 seat fold and return operation signals to the fold seat control ECU (LH/RH seat) to perform a fold or return operation of the rear No. 2 power seat.
    Fold Seat Control ECU (LH/RH seat) Receives signals from each seat switch and operates the reclining motor and lifter motor to fold and return the rear No. 2 power seat. Sounds a buzzer if conditions for the requested operation are not met or a jam is detected.
