PRECAUTIONS FOR INSPECTING POWER SOURCE FOR MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) (w/o Canister Pump Module with Door Ajar Warning Buzzer Function)
The vehicle battery supplies power to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via the door control battery. If a main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) power source malfunction occurs, the door control battery may be malfunctioning.
If the ECU-DCC NO. 2 fuse (the main power source fuse of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)) is removed with the door control battery charged, power will be supplied to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the door control battery for up to 50 minutes. At this time, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) will be able to function with the ECU-DCC NO. 2 fuse (the main power source fuse of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)) removed.
