DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) or roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) detects that the map light assembly is stuck for 30 seconds or more.

  • If the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) or roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) is removed and reinstalled or replaced, the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) or roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) must be initialized.

  • The panoramic moon roof system uses the LIN communication system. First, confirm that there are no malfunctions in the LIN communication system. Refer to How to Proceed with Troubleshooting.

  3. READ VALUE USING GTS (SLIDING ROOF)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Sliding Roof / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SLIDING ROOF ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY) - MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the U2 sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) connector.

    2. Disconnect the U11 map light assembly connector.

    3. Disconnect the w1 roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) connector.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

    1. Disconnect the w1 roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) connector.

    2. Disconnect the U11 map light assembly connector.

    3. Disconnect the U2 sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) connector.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
