      • When a large amount of water is applied to the rear emblem sensor assembly, such as when in heavy rain.

      • When water is applied to the rear emblem sensor assembly, such as when washing the vehicle.

      • When dirt, etc. is wiped off the rear emblem sensor assembly.

      • If a person is leaning toward or against the rear emblem sensor assembly.

      • When a metal object is brought near the rear emblem sensor.

      • When a vehicle cover is installed or removed.

    2. In the following situations, the sensitivity of the rear emblem sensor assembly may decrease and the touchless power back door may not operate normally:

      • When a large amount of water is applied to the rear emblem sensor assembly, such as when in heavy rain.

      • When water is applied to the rear emblem sensor assembly, such as when washing the vehicle.

      • For a few seconds after dirt, etc. is wiped off the rear emblem sensor assembly.

      • When mud, snow, ice, etc. is attached to the rear emblem sensor assembly.

      • When the vehicle has been parked for a while near objects that move and contact the emblem sensor, such as tall grass or trees.

      • When a device which emits radio waves which are near the same frequency as the rear emblem sensor assembly is near the vehicle.

    3. In the following situations, the touchless power back door will not operate:

      • When an electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is not detected within the back door exterior detection area.

      • When the back door is not fully closed.

      • When a hand is held parallel to the rear emblem sensor assembly.
