DESCRIPTION

If the telematics transceiver receives a malfunction, high temperature or low voltage signal from the mayday battery or does not receive any signals during mayday battery self-diagnosis, this DTC will be stored.

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT


    1. Clear the DTCs.

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

      No DTCs are output.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER - MAYDAY BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the J62 telematics transceiver connector.

    2. Disconnect the J64 mayday battery connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      J62-30 (BBI+) - J64-1 (BBO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      J62-13 (BBI-) - J64-5 (BBO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      J62-20 (CTR1) - J64-3 (BTR1) Always Below 1 Ω
      J62-21 (CTR2) - J64-4 (BTR2) Always Below 1 Ω
      J62-30 (BBI+) or J64-1 (BBO+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J62-13 (BBI-) or J64-5 (BBO-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J62-20 (CTR1) or J64-3 (BTR1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J62-21 (CTR2) or J64-4 (BTR2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
