1. CHECK TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Check remote control system operation.

      
      

      1. Check if only one the television display assembly does not turn on or both television display assemblies do not turn on.

      Result

2. CLEAN INFRARED RECEIVING PORTION

   
   

   1. 

      Clean the infrared receiving portion on the television display assembly.

   2. Check whether the same malfunction occurs.

      OK
      Operation returns to normal.

3. CHECK SYSTEM

   
   

   1. Check that the remote operation of the rear seat entertainment system is not prohibited on the screen of the radio receiver assembly.

      
      

      1. Check that "Rear System Lock" is set to off on the "General Settings" screen.

         OK
         "Rear System Lock" is set to off.

      Result
      Proceed to OK NG

   CHARGE LOCK SETTING TO OFF

4. CHECK TELEVISION SWITCH AND VOLUME ASSEMBLY BATTERY

   
   

   1. Check that the dry-cell battery of the remote control is not depleted.

      OK
      Battery is not depleted.

   REPLACE TELEVISION SWITCH AND VOLUME ASSEMBLY BATTERY

5. REPLACE TELEVISION SWITCH AND VOLUME ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Replace the television switch and volume assembly with a new or known good one.

   2. Check that the television display assemblies turn on.

      OK
