PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the J52 and J53 radio receiver assembly connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J52-7 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J52-4 (+B1) - J52-7 (GND1) Always

      11 to 14 V*1

      9.5 to 14 V*2
      J52-3 (ACC1) - J52-7 (GND1) Engine switch on (ACC)

      11 to 14 V*1

      J53-1 (IG) - J52-7 (GND1) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
