  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the J66 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the K6 and K8 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.

    3. Disconnect the M3 and N3 front No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.

    4. Disconnect the O5 and P5 rear No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.

    5. Disconnect the K2 front No. 3 speaker assembly connector.

    6. Measure the resistance between the stereo component amplifier assembly or each speaker assembly and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.

    3. Measure the resistance between each of the rear speaker assemblies and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.

    5. Disconnect the S53 rear No. 3 speaker assembly connector.

    6. Disconnect the K2 front No. 3 speaker assembly connector.

    7. Measure the resistance between the stereo component amplifier assembly or each speaker assembly and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.

    4. Disconnect the O5 and P5 rear No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.

    5. Disconnect the R25 and S38 quarter side speaker assembly connectors.

    6. Disconnect the S53 rear No. 3 speaker assembly connector.

    7. Disconnect the K2 front No. 3 speaker assembly connector.

    8. Measure the resistance between the stereo component amplifier assembly or each speaker assembly and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.
