YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during yaw rate sensor assembly removal/installation are shown below.

  • Clear the Zero Point Calibration Data

  • Deceleration Sensor Zero Point Calibration

  • Perform yaw rate and acceleration sensor zero point calibration

Dynamic Torque Control AWD System

Perform the following procedures in the order shown:


  1. Clear zero point calibration data and system information

  2. Perform yaw rate and acceleration sensor zero point calibration and store system information


  • VSC disabled or malfunctions

  • DTCs are stored

  • Slip indicator light illuminates

  • ABS warning light illuminates

  • Theft deterrent system (tilt sensor)

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX INSERT

  3. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector from the yaw rate sensor assembly.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and yaw rate sensor assembly.

      Note


      • Do not drop the yaw rate sensor assembly.

      • If the yaw rate sensor assembly is dropped, replace it with a new one.
