DESCRIPTION
When the brake hold control system is operating or a brake demand signal is received from the dynamic radar cruise control system, the skid control ECU outputs a stop light drive output (STPO) signal to the semiconductor PWR integration ECU to illuminate the stop lights.
When an emergency braking request signal is received, the skid control ECU outputs a stop light drive output (EXO) signal to the semiconductor PWR integration ECU to blink the stop lights (w/ Emergency Brake Signal).

Note
When replacing the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), perform zero point calibration and store system information.
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following procedure.

CHECK STOP LIGHT OPERATION
Check that the stop lights come on when the brake pedal is depressed and go off when the brake pedal is released.

READ VALUE USING GTS (STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Select the Data List on the GTS.

Perform the Active Test of the semiconductor PWR integration ECU using the GTS.

Turn the engine switch off.
Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connector.
Disconnect the A41 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

RECONFIRM DTC
Reconnect the A41 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.
Clear the DTCs.
Turn the engine switch off.
Start the engine.
Perform a road test.
Check if the same DTC is output.
