OIL PUMP REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP OIL SEAL


    1. A01RA4XC03
      *a Depth

      Using SST and a hammer, install a new front oil pump oil seal to the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

      SST
      09350-32014   ( 09351-32140 )
      Standard Depth
      -0.25 to 0.25 mm (-0.00984 to 0.00984 in.)

      Note

      The front oil pump oil seal end should be level with the outer edge of the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

    2. Coat the lip of the front oil pump oil seal with MP grease.

  2. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP BODY O-RING

      Coat a new front oil pump body O-ring with ATF and install it to the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

      Note

      Make sure that the front oil pump body O-ring is installed correctly with the identification line facing outward and check that it is not twisted, protruding or damaged.

  3. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVEN GEAR


    1. A01RCEG

      Coat the front oil pump driven gear with ATF and install it to the front oil pump body sub-assembly with the marked side facing upward.

  4. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR


    1. A01RCTR

      Coat the front oil pump drive gear with ATF and install it to the front oil pump body sub-assembly with the marked side facing upward.

  5. INSTALL STATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY


    1. A01RF4JC02

      Align each knock pin of the stator shaft assembly with the holes in the front oil pump body sub-assembly and install the stator shaft assembly to the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

      Note

      Do not drop the front oil pump drive gear and front oil pump driven gear.

    2. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, install the 16 bolts.

      Torque:
      9.3 N*m  { 95 kgf*cm, 82 in.*lbf }
      Bolt Length
      Bolt (A)
      14 mm (0.551 in.)
      Bolt (B)
      26 mm (1.02 in.)

  6. INSPECT FRONT OIL PUMP BODY SUB-ASSEMBLY
