ATF TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT ATF TEMPERATURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the ATF temperature sensor assembly connector.

      (ATF Temperature Sensor Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      THO1 - E2 Always 79 Ω to 156 kΩ
      THO1 - Body ground and other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher
      E2 - Body ground and other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Tech Tips

      If the resistance is out of the specified range at any of the ATF temperatures shown in the table below, replace the ATF temperature sensor assembly. Otherwise, the driveability of the vehicle may decrease.
