ENGINE STOP AND START ECU INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ENGINE STOP AND START ECU (for LHD)


    1. Install the engine stop and start ECU to the wiring harness clamp bracket with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the 3 engine stop and start ECU connectors.

  2. INSTALL ENGINE STOP AND START ECU (for RHD)

      Engage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration to install the engine stop and start ECU.

  3. INSTALL ECU INTEGRATION BOX LH (for RHD)

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  5. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for LHD)

  6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for LHD)

  7. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  8. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  9. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (for RHD)

    Click here

  10. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH LH (for RHD)

    Click here

  11. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for RHD)

  12. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for RHD)

    Click here

  13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  14. PERFORM REGISTRATION
