DRIVING SUPPORT ECU INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL DRIVING SUPPORT ECU ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Connect the connector.

      B005N7YC01
      *A for Type A *B for Type B
      *C for Type C - -

    2. Engage the 2 guides.

    3. Install the driving support ECU assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      for Type A
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }
      for Type B
      4.5 N*m  { 46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf }
      for Type C
      12.5 N*m  { 127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

      Note


      • If the driving support ECU assembly has been struck or dropped, replace the driving support ECU assembly with a new one.


      • There are three types of bolts and the tightening torque depends on the type of bolt used as shown in the illustration. Therefore, confirm the tightening torque before installing the bolt.

  2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY WITH MAIN BODY ECU (for LHD)

  3. INSTALL DRIVING SUPPORT ECU ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

      *A for Type A
      *B for Type B
      *C for Type C

      Connect the connector.

    2. Engage the 2 guides.

    3. Install the driving support ECU assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      for Type A
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }
      for Type B
      4.5 N*m  { 46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf }
      for Type C
      12.5 N*m  { 127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

      Note
