ENGINE OIL COOLER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN ENGINE OIL

  2. REMOVE COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 8 ENGINE WIRE


    1. A01VXYDC01
      *1 No. 8 Engine Wire

      Disconnect the 2 No. 8 engine wire connectors.

    2. Disengage the 2 clamps to remove the No. 8 engine wire from the oil cooler assembly.

  4. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VWY5C01
      *1 No. 4 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 5 Water By-pass Hose

      Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose from the oil cooler assembly.

      Remove the 3 bolts and oil cooler assembly from the stiffening crankcase assembly.

    3. Remove the oil cooler gasket from the stiffening crankcase assembly.

    4. A01VY30

      Remove the 2 bolts and wire harness clamp bracket from the oil cooler assembly.
