WATER PUMP INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL ELECTRIC WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the electric water pump assembly to the water pump bracket sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the electric water pump assembly connector.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE

   
   

   1. Install the No. 1 intercooler cooling water hose to the electric water pump assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

3. CONNECT NO. 2 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the No. 2 intercooler cooling water hose to the electric water pump assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

   2. Engage the clamp to the water pump bracket sub-assembly.

4. CONNECT NO. 1 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the No. 1 intercooler cooling water hose to the intercooler reserve tank assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

5. INSTALL INTERCOOLER RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the intercooler reserve tank assembly to the water pump bracket sub-assembly and engine mounting insulator sub-assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

6. CONNECT NO. 1 TURBO WATER HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the No. 1 turbo water hose to the intercooler reserve tank assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

7. CONNECT NO. 4 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the No. 4 intercooler cooling water hose to the intercooler reserve tank assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

8. ADD COOLANT (for Intercooler)

9. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Intercooler)
