PURGE VALVE(w/o Canister Pump Module) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL PURGE VALVE (PURGE VSV)


    1. B005LOKC01
      *1 No. 1 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *2 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose Assembly
      *a 1 to 6 mm (0.0394 to 0.236 in.)
      *b RH side
      *c Front
      *d 120° (Claw of Clip Location)
      *e 60° (Paint Mark Location)

      Install the purge valve (purge VSV) to the intake air surge tank assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

    2. Connect the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose to the purge valve (purge VSV).

    3. Connect the fuel vapor feed hose assembly to the purge valve (purge VSV) and slide the clip to secure it.

      Tech Tips

      Engage the clip within the area shown in the illustration.

    4. Connect the purge valve (purge VSV) connector.
